目的
Todeterminetheeffectsofsimultaneouslypresentedmyopicandhyperopicdefocusontherefractivedevelopmentofchicks.

Anovelformofdual-powerlenswasdesigned.Normalchicks7to8daysofagewerefittedwithadual-powerlensoveroneeyeandaplanolensoverthefellow(control)eye.Dual-powerlensesof+20/-10,+10/-10,+5/-10,andplano/-10-Dweretested,alongwith+10/-10-Dlenseshavingdifferingratios(50:50,33:67,and25:75)ofsurfaceareadevotedtoeachpower.Ocularrefractionandaxialocular
